So habe ich es noch nie gesehen

The work So habe ich es noch nie gesehen presents our artistic engagement with ecological networks. It explores how these entanglements can open up new perspectives and challenge linear thinking.

We understand ecology as a breathing space of coexistence, as a sensitive perception of connections between bodies, places, and forms of knowledge. We seek to deconstruct capitalist and patriarchal structures and weave political and imaginary threads into an organic process guided by intuition and curiosity.

Our framework is inspired by shared readings. Anna Tsing’s metaphor of polyphony renders ecological relations as a multi-voiced fabric. James Bridle attributes forms of intelligence to every being, grounded in his concept of the Umwelt. Donna Haraway describes life as a process of Becoming-With across species—a dynamic of attachment, responsibility, and fiction.

So habe ich es noch nie gesehen is a dialogue between mother and daughter. Our perspectives also intersect in the materiality of our work. We use photography and textiles in different ways as tools for material research.
